My Background & Education
I began my therapy career in 2013 at Lutheran Social Services in Superior. After completing my Wisconsin Marriage and Family Therapy licensure requirements in 2015, I joined the newly formed Creative Counseling Group. To best meet the mental health needs in Superior, I worked with young children, teens, adults, families, and couples, supporting them through life’s challenges, growth, and healing.
In 2025, I opened Wildheart Healing and Counseling, and I’m eager to continue supporting the community of Superior, Wisconsin, and beyond. Initially I will focus on the adult population and will expand my age groups as I find my new flow at Wildheart.
I hold a Master of Science in Education with a Marriage and Family specialty from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of Minnesota Duluth. I am also a trauma informed and certified yoga teacher.
Lately, I’ve been especially interested in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) treatment.
Inclusivity & Commitment to Growth

Inclusivity & Commitment to Growth
Therapy is a space for all humans, no matter their gender, race, sexuality, body size, ability, socioeconomic status, or background. I strive to create an affirming, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed space where you feel seen and supported. I also acknowledge that I am always learning—about my own privilege, systemic barriers to mental health care, and how to better show up for all members of my community.
I want to recognize that I live and work on the unceded lands of the Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) people. I am committed to continued learning about the history of this land and how I can contribute to healing, justice, and equity.

How I Work
I believe therapy should be a collaborative and empowering process—you are the expert on your life, and I’m here to walk alongside you. My work integrates person-centered therapy, somatic approaches, yoga-informed therapy, and mindfulness-based practices to help you reconnect with yourself and find clarity in your journey. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, healing from trauma, or simply seeking a space to explore your emotions, I’m here to support you. I believe in the healing power of nature, movement, community, and shared humanity—seeing my clients as "fellow travelers" rather than patients. These values guide my work, my relationships, and my approach to life. Lastly, if we get the chance to work together, ask me about my two favorite words in the English language and the quote that means the most to me: “Love isn’t everything. Love is the only thing.”
Outside of the office
I love backyard sauna time, cold plunges, jumbo olives, popcorn, and beans and rice. I’m also obsessed with snuggling my dogs, drawn to the allure of running on single track, and deeply cherish my quirky blended family. And when the music of Michael Franti plays, you’ll find me baltering with wild joy!
